Your machines are bad and you should feel bad for this.
This machine caught fire while trying to wash my laundry. I’m not sure just what happened, just that it filled, never agitated, drained, and caught fire. I found it with smoke still seeping out, and my laundry sitting wet inside, now with an added horrendous smell of burnt plastic.
Speed Queen smoke. Don’t breathe this. No, really, don’t– it gave me a really bad headache that just won’t go away.
Public service announcement:
Do not buy any new “Philips” brand consumer electronics products. Philips has just exited the consumer electronics business, and what you’ll be getting is Funai corporation garbage with the Philips brand name on it. See also: Brand name necrophilia. Sorry, this means even less good options in the nearly completed race to the bottom that is the light bulb market. I’d stick with Cree LED bulbs for now.
As an added bonus, here’s a Funai TV on fire. It’s supposed to be flame retardant, but the only thing that finally stopped it was a blast from the garden hose. Yeah I’m sure it met the specifications it got UL listed under….. if it ever actually was and didn’t just have a UL logo stamped on it in utter fraud. 😉
These boxes made me mad and very sore today. 16,000 pounds and none of them fit through the doors.
But this box never manages to make me mad. It’s full of pixel kitteh. And look, I managed to get a picture of Joe DiMeowgio! He’d been visiting but I hadn’t caught him there yet.
The dude in the pyramid tent is Ramses The Great and he seems to really like my virtual yard here.
This is from the Neko Atsume game, which is just ridiculously silly and cute.
Another event using it, another time I’m reminded of how happy I’ll be when this lighting board gets replaced. Programming the lights for a show requires using a hair pin to move the broken faders, and knocking on the desk near it fires lights at random.
