Well look what the 1980s dragged in.
It’s the working zombie remains of a Ryko R7B car wash.
It’s in service but I wouldn’t use it! The brushes are toast. If they lose too many filaments, the hard plastic c-channel strips and the metal rollers themselves will hit the car spinning. No thanks, my paint is already Hialeah enough as it is.

This was was renently renovated and got newer foam and filament brushes.
So it outlasted every car it’s washed

ahhh yes, the “I’m running on completely worn out bearings and an out of balance impeller and constantly threatening to disintegrate into metal shrapnel and yack it all over your car” sound?

I have seen and experienced way worse when it comes to that. A still operating voyager near me that has all of the side brushes extremely off balance that shakes and thrashes like crazy where it ended up loosing position of my car and one of the arms ended up doing very bad damage to the back part of my car last October. idk if its just me or does it feel like cheaper parts are being used on these vintage Rykos to try and structurally weaken them to the point where the owners will eventually have to choice but to replace them with newer more up to date machines.
